Echo

A drawing based on the story from the book "Echo", written by the Dutch Thriller/Horror writer Thomas Olde Heuvelt.

When I read the boek "Echo" for the third time, an idea for the composition of a drawing based on the subjects and persons in the story, started to form spontaneously. For this drawing I did research on the mountain "Le Maudit" from the book, in reality one of the summits part of the Mont Blanc massif, Swiss traditional clothing, climbing gear and alpine choughs, and used this to create this drawing. With this drawing I try to have people that read the book, to relive the story and for people that didn't read the book yet, to get curious....

For this drawing I used graphite pencils.

A3 paper size.
